Arizona: Clinton tied with Trump in latest poll results
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of Merrill in Arizona, were released on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 38.0% of interviewees intend to vote for Clinton, whereas 38.0% said they would vote for the republican Trump. This poll was conducted from March 7 to March 11, among a random sample of 701 likely voters. Figures have a +/-3.7 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 50.0% for the Democrats and 50.0% for the Republicans.
