Arizona: Democrats tied with Republicans in latest poll results
The results of a new poll, conducted by Merrill in Arizona, were released on April 11. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 38.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrats, while 38.0% are going to vote for the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 7 to March 11, among a random sample of 701 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-3.7 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 50.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 50.0% for Donald Trump.
