Latest WPR/St. Norbert poll in Wisconsin: Democrats hold very clear lead
The results of a new poll, conducted by WPR/St. Norbert in Wisconsin, were released on March 23. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 50.0% said that they plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 39.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from October 14 to October 17, among a random sample of 603 registered voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.2% for the democrat Clinton and 43.8% for Trump. The democrats did worse by 0.2 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
