SurveyUSA poll in North Carolina: Republicans hold small lead
Results of a new poll conducted by SurveyUSA were released on March 23. Participants from North Carolina were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results show that 43.0% of respondents would vote for the Democrats, whereas 45.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was in the field between February 14 and February 16. The sample size was 1250 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.9% for the democrat Clinton and 51.1% for Trump.
