Minnesota: Lead for Republicans in new KSTP/SurveyUSA poll
Results of a new poll carried out by KSTP/SurveyUSA were published on March 23. Participants from Minnesota were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who answered the question, 42.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, while 45.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from October 29 to November 2, among a random sample of 516 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-4.4 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.3% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 51.7% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did better by 3.1 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Minnesota.
