Results of a new poll conducted by TEGNA/SurveyUSA were released on March 23. Participants from Georgia were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results show that 41.0% of interviewees intend to vote for Democratic party, while 50.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from February 22 to February 23 with 1261 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.8 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 45.1% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 55.0% for the republican Donald Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Georgia The republicans did worse in this poll.
