WWL-TV/ClarusWWL-TV/Clarus poll in Louisiana: Democrats are behind
WWL-TV/ClarusWWL-TV/Clarus released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Louisiana were asked who they would vote for. Of those who responded, 39.0% said that they are going to vote for the democrat Clinton, whereas 47.0% revealed that they would give their vote to Trump. The poll was conducted from September 20 to September 23 among 800 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 45.4% for the democrat Clinton and 54.7% for Trump. The vote share for the republicans is 9.2 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Louisiana. In Comparison, the PollyVote currently expects the Republicans to win % of the two-party vote in Louisiana, which is percentage points below their poll figures.
