Democrats lead in Wisconsin by 12 points in new WPR/St. Norbert poll
The results of a new poll, conducted by WPR/St. Norbert in Wisconsin, were released on April 20. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 46.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 34.0% are going to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from April 12 to April 15 with 616 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 57.5% for the Democrats and 42.5% for the Republicans. The democrats did worse by 1.6 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
