Virginia: Democrats hold very clear lead in latest Roanoke College poll
Results of a new poll conducted by Roanoke College were released on March 23. Participants from Virginia were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results show that 52.0% of interviewees would vote for Clinton, while 35.0% said they would vote for Trump. This poll was conducted from January 18 to January 26, among a random sample of 524 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-4.3 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 59.8% for the Democrats and 40.2% for the Republicans.
