Democrats lead in Florida by 5 points in new Quinnipiac poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of Quinnipiac in Florida, were published. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 46.0% of participants intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 41.0% said they would vote for GOP. This poll was conducted from September 25 to October 5, among a random sample of 1173 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.9 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 52.9% for the democrat Clinton and 47.1% for Trump.
