Results of a new poll carried out by FOX 2 Detroit/Mitchell were published on March 23. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results reveal that 42.0% of respondents will vote for Democratic party, whereas 42.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from September 18 to September 18 among 1483 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-2.5 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 50.0% for Clinton and 50.0% for Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 4.6 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Michigan.
