New Quinnipiac poll in Ohio: Democrats trail by a small margin
Results of a new poll carried out by Quinnipiac were published on March 23. Participants from Ohio were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who answered the question, 42.0% said that they plan to vote for the Democrats, while 44.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from February 16 to February 20 with 1539 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.5 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.8% for the Democrats and 51.2% for the Republicans.
