Results of a new poll carried out by Elon University were released on March 23. Participants from North Carolina were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results reveal that 47.0% of respondents plan to vote for Democratic party, whereas 41.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted from February 15 to February 17 with 1530 likely voters. The error margin is +/-2.5 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.4% for the Democrats and 46.6% for the Republicans.
