North Carolina: Lead for Democrats in new PPP (D) poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of PPP (D) in North Carolina, were published. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 44.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democratic Party, while 42.0% plan to vote for the GOP. This poll was conducted from March 18 to March 20, among a random sample of 843 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.4 percentage points margin of error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.2% for the Democrats and 48.8% for the Republicans.
