Emerson poll in Connecticut: Democrats are leading
Results of a new poll carried out by Emerson were released. Participants from Connecticut were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who answered the question, 48.0% said that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 40.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted between April 10 and April 11. The sample size was 1043 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-3.0 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.6% for the democrat Clinton and 45.5% for Trump.
