WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press poll in Michigan: Republicans are behind
WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Michigan were asked who they would vote for. The results show that 46.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 38.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from October 25 to October 31 with 600 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-4.0 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.8% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 45.2% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did worse by 0.2 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Michigan.
