Iowa: Recent PPP (D) poll: Democrats at 45%
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D) were published. Participants from Iowa were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 45.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 43.0% are going to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from December 10 to December 13 among 1426 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.6 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 51.1% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 48.9% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did better by 1.7 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Iowa.
