Morning Consult poll: Republicans are behind
Morning Consult disclosed the results of a new national poll on March 21. 45.0% of participants said that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 38.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The Internet poll was in the field between March 18 and March 21. The sample size was 2001 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.2% for the Democrats and 45.8% for the Republicans. The polling results for the Democrats are thus 1.6 percentage points higher than the combined PollyVote, which currently anticipates a value of 52.6%.
