CNN disclosed the results of a new national poll on March 21. The results reveal that 53.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% said they would vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted from March 17 to March 20 among 925 participants. Results have a +/-3.0 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.4% for the Democrats and 43.6% for the Republicans. The polling results for the Democrats are therefore 3.8 percentage points above the combined PollyVote, which as of now predicts a two-party vote share of 52.6%.
